Trainee Senior Researcher

Details on the position

We are looking for a number of trainee Senior Researchers to join the IRLII’s award-winning team of research volunteers.

The position will involve supervision of a research team. Successful candidates will be responsible for allocating research items to their team members, reviewing the submissions from their team, and communicating the results through our website and social media platforms.

The position will involve a time commitment of 4-6 hours a week. Full training will be provided.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be a registered student at University College Cork (U.C.C.), and plan to continue their studies for the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year. Students who are in the final year of their current course and plan to pursue postgraduate studies should mention this in their cover letter.
  • All applicants must have successfully completed the LW1156/LW1001/LW1101/LW6008 Legal Research & Writing module at U.C.C. or an equivalent module.
  • Proficiency in English
